3) Media can be influenced by Government because if Government doesn't want something to be shown by the media, it will not be shown. An economic factor that can influence media is if a company pays the media to either show their ad or hush up something that they did. A natural disaster or man made disaster can drastically change the media because it will be all over the media.
4) The effects are that the group that is not portrayed will probably face distrust and glares and will probably have their reputation ruined.
Step 2:
1) The Iraqis were portrayed as being happy about the statue, but they were not. The Americans were portrayed as heroes to the Iraqis by helping them, although the Americans were not.
2) The location is Middle East, bordering the Persian Gulf, between Iran and Kuwait. The capital is Accra. The climate is desert with mild winters. Language is Arabic. Religion is Muslim. Culturally, Iraq has a very rich heritage.
3) The similarities are that they talk about the same event. The differences are that one talks about how great America is and that is an American paper. The other papers talk about how bad America is.
4 the video was staged. it was filmed with the two flags of the countries.the soldiers called the people out and told them what to do.
5 The affect this has on me is that it makes me feel mad that the media would lie to us like that. I feel outraged that the soldiers would stoop so low to orchestrate the event. I could be wrong in my opinion because i only have a small understanding.
6 I think the media chose to show the story to show us that everything's great . They omitted the fact that the soldiers orchestrated the entire event.
7 The images in my opinion were doctored to try to place a feeling of peace.
8 It served ,again in my opinion , to make the Iraqis mad at us. Again I'm not for sure.
9 I think that the military benefits from this lie.
10 Yes. If we altered the fact that The people who did the boston tea party did in fact do it, then the seed of rebellion would have been smothered.
