Animal Farm/ The book
Russia and what happened during and after the Russian Revolution of 1917. It also represents what could happen to a society when Authority goes unquestioned. The richer get richer, and the poorer get poorer.
I think it could symbolize many things. It could symbolize a club that chooses different leaders, or one of the eighth grade girl A teams. The have a leader, and they all get mean and snobby to everyone else, and either support the leader, or basically aren't part of the team.
This is supposed to represent a club

The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse represents the government under the ruler in Russia in the early 1900's. The czar, or king, was under a democratic rule. It's like all of Russia before the great war of 1917
I think that it represents North. You have a principal, Mrs. Gregoire, who is like the ruler, and then you have teachers who inforce the rules, like squealer. Then you have the students who are like the animals, some who have more control, like National Junior Honor society President has more control than say the captain of a basketball team. Or like the eighth graders. They have more benefiets than a seventh grader. They get to pick first for exploratories, and they get to be gym aides. North fits in perfectly as a substitute for animal farm.
Beautiful, beautiful North

Jones
What the Government of
Russia was like before all of the changing that started happening. He was better than the new government, but not even close to what a Utopia would be like.
My Parents. They inforce the rules, and if we don't do what they say, we get punished. My oldest brother, Larsen, sometimes "doesn't see eye to eye" with what my parents say, and so he gets in trouble a bit. Jacob and I are like the chickens, if we don't like something and complain, we get in trouble, and then end up more hurt than being benefeited. My littlest brother Russell, is like Molly, because he likes to be loved, and cared for, so he will find the person that will do that the most. My sisters Sariah and Emmaline, and my brothers Adam, Ashton, and Henry are like the animals when they don't like something that happens, then they get put back in line. My house is similar to what happened under the rule of Jones
This is not my dad, or my brother, but it represents kind of the rule that they inforce

Molly
Molly represents all of the aristocratic people from the Russian government that really don't care what happens, as long as they get all of their food and money, or "sugar lumps and fancy ribbons."
I think that it could symbolize little babies, particularly my little one year old brother. They couldn't care less what happens, just as long as they still get a lot of attention, food, and clothes. I also noticed with my little brother that if one of us was ignoring him or not giving him enough attention, he'll just move on to another one of my brothers or sisters. That was exactly what happened to Molly. The animals on animal farm weren't giving her any sugar lumps or ribbons like Mr. Jones did, so she just moved on to another farm, and didn't think twice about it.
