10/26/2011	Dean Groom #5	At the moment when I was just about to get in the sandbox, I heard a shrill, deafening crash that made me jump. The insane big kid had gone down the big slide again. Last time I went to the top of that giant, I wet my pants and ran all back down to the bottom and then all the way home without casting a second glance at the unprepared bystanders watching the crazy, screaming lunatic flying out of the park with his arms flailing. "Moment I saw that kid go by," one of the kids had told his friends, "I thought somebody had just gotten bitten by a rabbit squirell." Mollie, that one big kids watcher had taken a liking to whoever was brave enough to go down the big slide, and everybody wanted to be liked by Mollie, because if mollie likes you, nobody will mess with you. The girl had a reputation of being pretty tough. Foolish kids had tried to go down the slide thingking that they would get her attention, but most of them were to petrified once they were up there, that they couldn't take another step. "Pretty obvious result" thought as I thought as I stepped into the sand-box, and just as my feet touched the sand, somebody tackled me from behind, and I fell face down into the sand. "White morsels!", I let out, and I began to chase after the whover that jerk was ,probably my neighbor, Drew. Mares with half a brain would have realized what the kid was doing, but I didn't. Who else wouldn't notice that the trickster was luring me to the top of the big slide? Drew led me closer and closer to the top as he raced up the ladder to the slide. The space between me and him began to close in as I realized that it was indeed Drew, but I called him by a humilating nickname that I had made up. Mr. Jones. "Trap," I muttered to myself as I realized that I was at the top of the big slide. "Came after me like a kitty-cat goes after a light on the floor, didn't you" he said smugly. Mincing my toungue with my teeth, I nervoulsy tried to find a way out of this, but in a moment, I realized that he was standing right in front of the big slide, he had fallsen victim to his own trap. Daintily smiling, I took a step forward, and lunged at him to push him down the deathly slide. In an instant, everything backfired. Chewing nothing like I had been chewing on my toungue only a second or two before Mr. Jones sidestepped just out of the way of my hands. At that moment, before I knew it, my weight fell forward, and I was looking down all the way to the bottom of the big slide. "A dumb thing that sure was to do." I thought to myself. Of course, now I was shooting down the monstrous slide while I screamed My head off. Lumps of bystanders once again watched the hollaring lunatic kid lose it once it again. "Sugar must be too plentiul at his house" thought one of the kids in the crowd.
10/17/11	deangroom activity no.2	The two gorrilas had just chowed down when an squad of escapee prisoners of war, which had killed their general, filed into the battlefeild, grunting mindlessly and wandering from side to side to find some place where they could get some kind of weapon. Billy Gorrilly made a sort of wall round them with his muscular body, and the prisoners cowered down inside it and quickly got beat up. At the last moment Grover, the foolish, stout nerd who liked the idea of staying out of the way, came waltzing boredly in to watch, munching at a bucket of popcorn.

9/27/11	Webquest	1. I learned not to keep waiting to get my assignment done till the last minute. 2.I learned the cascade mountain range in washington has many volcanoes in it. 3. I learned that advertisements should be quick and to the point.
10/11/11	Dean Groom Activity No.1	Pirates of the Carribean on Stranger Tides is the fourth movie in the series of pirates of the carribean. When I first saw it advertised, brother and I could be described as nothing but totally insane. I love those movies. Captian Jack is searching for the fountain of youth, but he gets there in a way he didn't exactly expect: aboard the Queen Ann's Revenge, of course with Blackbeard as the captian. He knows is that his old friend , Captain Barbosa, is following them, but what he doesn't know is that the real reason for it is that he wants revenge on something Blackbeard has done. Once again they are reunited and battles go up right after countless adventures. Of course, Jack is no different than before: hilarious and rediculously lucky. Dean Groom Activity No. 2 To obtain the immortality that the Fountain of Youth brings, a ritual must go through.
