Wrongly represented which causes anger
Both Sides Portrayed in Video:
The video makes America seem like the good guys for part of it but then it goes to show that the Americans are the bad guys
Choices Made:
The newspaper cover that we picked shows that after we analyzed it that it makes American soldiers seem like they did the right thing by fighting Iraq and taking down the statue of their previous ruler. The other newspaper shows that Baghdad has fallen and is ruined because of the "help" that America has given. The media changed the sequence of the events and the perspective of the story. The images were doctored to convince people to believe what the medida wants them to believe.
Altered Images:
Altered images can change history because they can change the effects and opinions that p did have a part people share and therefore affect desicions.
Audience:
The audience in the picture(s) look like citizens of Iraq but, the people REALLY gathered in the square are international journalists told to come out to add tho the number of people already there.
Audience not Represented:
The Iraqies were not truly represented
Outcome of certain races and religions:
The Muslims were probably abused, mistreated, and maybe murdered because of the terrorist attack on 9/11.The media probably affected how treatment came to Muslims. Australia is like America, it has many different cultures, races, and religions but, people can be racist no matter where they live. The media has made me feel strongly about both sides.
