Dean Groom Writing Activity 5
A pet store just opened downtown. Poodlemania is it's name. Made by a Scotsman from Japan, the prices on the pets there are stupidly cheap, while the teensy biscuits for guinea pigs cost $200 each. A biscuit costs this much because in Scotland, Guinea pigs were evil and the government had been trying to starve them out. Sort of ironic this was, because in Japan, guinea pigs were sacred. Of a great inheritance this man had come into, and decided to fulfill his lifelong dream of opening the store. Trap the dogs and cats was the first objective, because it was cheap. Round up rodents, birds, and rabbits was easy, because the old pet store called Cheapos was going out of business and giving away animals for free. Them had tried to stay open, but their competition was persistent, which was a good habit of mind, and were forced out of business. With all the supplies shipped in from Japan, the store opened for business, much to the delight of the Scotsman's wife. Her favorite thing was animals; she thought they were delicious. Hangman's harry's sold lots of supplies for slaughtering animals. Noose and knife was she armed with when she came into the pet store. And the first thing she did was inspect the animals. The dogs were whiny, the birds were small, the cats were skimpy. Ducklings sounded yummy today! Nestled in their cage were they when she picked it up, and bought them. Down on the pot they went, cooked and grilled. Inside the house her husband waited eagerly for dinner. It smelled so good, and he ate it all up immediately. And he asked her what exactly it was, beef or pork? Promptly she said raw baby duckling. Became single she did the next day. Its too bad he left her. Dinner was actually quite good.

I must do stuff that authors do about a show Animal Farm.
Animal Farm is about animals who talk and think as humans do. I also must do this without any backwards 3's. Animals start to run a farm without assisting of humans. Soon pigs start ruling animals and pigs not fair to animals.

BEFORE
The two horses had just lain down when a brood of ducklings,
which had lost their mother, filed into the barn, cheeping
feebly and wandering from side to side to find some place where
they would not be trodden on. Clover made a sort of wall round
them with her great foreleg, and the ducklings nestled
down inside it and promptly fell asleep. At the last moment
Mollie, the foolish, pretty white mare who drew
Mr. Jones's trap, came mincing daintily in, chewing at
a lump of sugar.

AFTER
The two mental patients had just escaped when a brood
of ducklings, which had cooked their mother, filed into
the jail cell, chomping gum and dancing from side to
side to find some loose change or a place where they could get potato chips. A poodle made a sort of trap round them with her hangman's noose, and the ducklings nestled down inside it and promptly became its dinner. At the last meal, Bubba, the foolish, sneaky stinky hobo, who had been arrested at
Mr. Jones's store, came mincing onions, chewing at a cigar.

My Web Quest
It was super cool! I realized that there are lot's of
things to learn about our world. I also learned how twisted the
media can make things seem. Next time, I want to be prepared to
work on my web quest both at home and at school. I really liked
how much freedom and time we had to work on these.
