10-27-2011 Dean Groom Activity 5	Zorx had a weird name. Attempted he did to change it, but he never could. To change it would mean to go through a long process, which he didn't want to to. Protect things he did not. His things were not good. Were he more careful, he would have been able to change his name. Comrades he had made fun of him. But he never cared. The things he did were not usual. People laughed and jeered, but they had no effect. Got him angry they did not. Him, he realized, too, did not belong in the front of a sentence. "Too," he told all the others, even though they laughed, "shouldn't be there either."
10-17-2011 Dean Groom activity 2	The six aliens had just started sleeping when a legion of humans, who had some to conquer them, burst into the camp, throwing nets over them and knocking them out to take back to their home planet to study them. Zorx attempted to protect his comrades, but the people got him, too. At the last moment Gorlan, the foolish, ugly green alien who did all the hard work, came lumbering in, only to be trapped in a net.
10-11-11 Dean Groom activity 1	I chose the movie Avatar. In avatar a guy goes to a planet called pandora that's inhabited by a bunch of giant blue people that are at war with humans. He gets an avatar which is an alien body that they can transfer his human mind into. He goes out on an expedition and gets lost and is captured by the aliens. He then has to learn their ways and prevent the destruction of the alien race. he ends up betraying humanity and forces them off the planet and gets a girlfriend along the way, who is an alien. I first saw this movie with my sister, brother, and other friends at the movie theater. At first I thought that this movie would be stupid and dumb, but the graphics were actually really awesome and the storyline was really good. I then went and saw it at the theater two more times and bought it when it came out on dvd and watched it seven times in a week. 10-26-2011 Dean Groom activity 3 In a film Avatar, a main human could switch form into humanoid from Pandora. Humans had to fight humanoids from Pandora, but the Pandorans fought to stay at an origin. Main human fought with Pandorans in his Pandoran form, and will accomplish clan boss. Main human floats Big Raptor, which is a big flying thing. Pandorans won and humans lost and had to abscond from Pandora.
10/7/11 What animal I am most like.	Of the animals on Animal Farm, I feel that I am most like Boxer the horse or Benjamin the donkey. I a like Boxer because I work very hard. I always help people and work harder. I also don't stop working until the job is done. I am like Benjamin the donkey because people don't really understand me all the time. If people ask me a strange question or one I just don't feel like answering, I say something cryptic that they don't understand. Some people also say that I'm older than I seem to be and Benjamin was old. I am also like him because I can understand when people are doing something wrong when other people don't. This is why I am like Benjamin the donkey and Boxer the horse. Mr. A has really cool hair and it should be called the Einstein.
9/27/2011 my webquest	Some of the cool things I learned through the webquests are that an American spy plane was shot down over china because we thought they might have been developing a nuclear bomb, the panama canal was under american control, then panama, then american again, and that Sadam Hussein's statue that was toppled was actually kinda staged. If I could do this project again, I would take more time and get more accurate information and make it so that my partner and I were communicating better. I didn't really enjoy this particular webquest because it was confusing and I didn't really understand it.
