2. American History- we should know about our country and how it came to be.
We think that American history is an important subject to learn in a perfect social studies classroom. The first reason why we think American history is important to learn so that we can learn how our country came to be and how that affects us. When we learn about our country, we learn about the hard work people had to go through to get freedom, and we have a deep respect for those people. We also have a respect for the ingenuity that was used to create our country. We learn about how our government was created and how it works, so we can be a part of it. The second reason is that it could inspire us to become something that utilizes that knowledge. For example, we could become archaeologists and possibly find information that could change history books forever. Students could also be inspired to write books or run museums. A lot of money from the country is from museums, and social studies could help inspire that. Those are some reasons why American history is important subject to learn in a perfect social studies classroom.
