The animals are behaving like humans in they talk, they have dreams and explain them to the animals. 2. Old Major's speech in the barn was about how he was going to pass away soon, so he wanted to share with the rest of the animals his wisdom. He tells them about humans and how they take all of their food that they produce and only give them enough to survive. He also, explains a dream he had the previous night about a world without humans. Old major relates this to them by trying to make his dream a reality. 3. Old Major says, "All men are enemies, all animals are comrades" because it shows that old major and the rest of the animals do not like men are are their ENIMES and all animals are comrades or friends. Another quote George Orwell used to describe this was "Whatever goes upon 2 legs, is an enemy. Whatever goes upon 4 legs, or has wings is a friend." Study Guide Chapter 24. The animals were easily led because they needed a new leader and the pigs where their to follow in Old Major's footsteps to do exactly what he wanted. 5.
