I liked using the Web Quest. It was a very organized way of learning. I thought that doing our project this way was much more organized than some other ways we could have done it. I enjoyed the topic of this Web Quest. It was fun to learn more about the five places I chose in my Web Quest project. One thing I didn't like about using the Web Quest was that, although it was organized, I didn't always know where to find some of the directions or attachments.

I am most like...
I think that my personality is a combination of Mollie, Muriel, and Snowball. I am like Mollie in that I am sometimes lazy. I also like nice things, just like Mollie. Her version of nice things are the sugar cubes and hair ribbons. I am like Muriel in that I love to read. Muriel also doesn't pay much attention to Napoleon because she has figured out that Napoleon is taking advantage of the animals. I think I would have figured that out, too. I believe I am like Snowball because I like to be the leader and make the rules, but I am not harsh like Napoleon. Snowball is also very inventive and creative. I think that describes me, as well. Though there isn't one animal in particular that describes me, I think I am much like these three..

Dean Groom Activity #1
The Blind Side is a really enjoyable movie about a teenage boy who is homeless. He is taken in by a lady named Leigh Anne and her family. Micheal, the main character will one day become an NHL football player. This movie is sad in some parts, but it really made me feel grateful for the fact that I have a kind, caring family, plenty of food to eat, and a roof over my head. Especially since this movie is a true story and Micheal really was without these things for part of his life. This is one of my favorite movies because it contains such amazing messages. One of these is that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. Another shows that helping others will help you too.

Dean Groom Activity #2
The seven purple elephants had just eaten pancakes when a trio of lizards, which had just played chess, marched into the circus tent , laughing and biting the elephants' feet to keep from being squished. Nellie the elephant made a sort of wall round them with her trunk, and the lizards stopped biting her feet and loudly began to snore. At the last moment Charlie, the clumsy, lazy white cat who sat in the humans' lap , came tromping daintily in, chewing at a lump of sugar.

Dean Groom Activity #5
Finn was an alien from Mars. Returned to the planet by a spaceship, he lived in a small hut in the martian city of Gole. The city was large and blue, much different from any of earth's cities. Next to Gole was a small town called Minlee. Week by week, the small town thrived on the power Gole generated. With spaceships traveling to earth and back, enough power was generated to fuel half of Mars! Another city had aliens jumping up and down to create energy. Speech on Mars is much like it is on earth, but it is also much different. Prepared for takeoff, Finn and his Martian friends head to earth.
