Felix was the name of my first wife, the pirate. Made out of wood was her peg. Sort of strange how she died in that bungee jumping accident. Of course, she shouldn't have tied the bungee to the peg, the foot side would have worked better. a sqeaking noise with his sharp teeth, and then settled back down into his nest and stared at the ripe bananas the rest of the starry night.
The group of kids were all screaming at the top of their lungs once they arrived at the farm. Two of them had stopped screaming to look at the magnificent site that appeared. Horses had just walked in the barn strong and fierce Had the kids been in the way they would have got run over. Just when they thought they the barn couldn't get any more crowded they looked over. Lain down was a few woolly sheep. Down in the straw were also a few bunnies eating carrots. When the children went to look at them something else can in. A large spotted cow come trotting in chewing is cud. Groups of kids gathered steered away from the cow. Of course the large cow meant no harm. Ducklings also flowed in through the cat door. Which was never used by the cat. Had it been used more by the cat then maybe the door wouldn't be so hard to open. Lost and lonely in the corner was two other ducklings. Mother was no where to be found. Filed into the barn were also a group a mice, small but mighty. Into the pile of stray they sat down. The children were getting nervous with all these animals so they decided to take a step outside. Barns were a great place for a field trip agreed all the kids. Cheeping chicks decided to follow all the kids outside to get some fresh air and sunshine themselves. Feebly chirping around the little chicks eventually sat down in the gravel. And then their mother showed up out of the blue from the near wheat field. Wandering around also came the barn cat, she was black and scruffy but very smart. From then on the kids got to play on the hay slide and go through the corn maze. Side of the corn maze was a little bit roughed up from having a whole class of kids walk through it. To the kids' surprise the corn maze was quite challlenging and many of them just gave up. Side of the corn maze also had holes in the bottom due to kids trying to sneak under. To the kids that performed those actions found themselves even more lost. Find the way and get a prize is all the kids remember hearing from the farmer who loved kids. Some kids found their way out and were rewarded with a caramel apple. "Place the sticks of those in the garbage said the farmer in fear of his animals eating the sticks." "Where is the garbage?" The students asked. They found it right after they asked that question. "Would you like to go to the Barn again children?" asked the farmer. Not hesitating at all the kids all agreed that they wanted to. "Be nice to the animals" said the happy farmer. Trodden in was the big horse with his flowing mane. On the upside the kids all loved this field trip.

The two horses had just lain down when a of group ducklings, which had lost their mother, filed into the barn, cheeping feebly and wandering from side to side to find some place where they would not be trodden on. Clover made a sort of wall round them with her great foreleg, and the ducklings nestled down inside it and promptly fell asleep. At the last moment Mollie, the foolish, pretty white mare who drew Mr. Jones's trap, came mincing daintily in, chewing at a lump of sugar.
The three foolish monkeys had just settled down when a bushell of bananas, who were bright and yellow, called attention to themselves, smelling so fresh and looking so nice dangling from the banana tree across from the monkey's nest in the tree. Felix made sort of a sqeaking noise with his sharp teeth, and then settled back down into his nest and stared at the ripe bananas the rest of the starry night. At the last moment Roxy, the beautiful, sleek chocolate brown monkey who drove the other monkeys bonkers, came galloping up the tree, with the bushel of bananas in her mouth.

One thing that comes to mind when I hear the title blind side, is Sandra Bullock a rich, sophisticated, yet sensative women. In the movie she finds an african american man named Micheal who has no home and she takes him into hers. Micheal is a bigger man and has trouble learning so she gets him a tutor which helps his grades get up. They also take him shopping and buy him nice new clothes to wear as well as get him started in football. He became to be a really good football player with just a little bit of trust and training. In Sandra's movie family there was her, her husband, her teenage daughter, and a little boy who Micheal was able to have a close bond with. But one day Micheal and the little boy were driving in Micheal's new car, listening to the radio and then they got in a bad car crash. Luckily the two boys were ok and the family lived happily ever after.
Dean Groom activity 3 10/26/11= This show is about a boy who is living on the roads and is took into a rich groups living room. A family bought that boy shirts that fit that do not stink. Animal Farm Animal
If I were any animal in the book "Animal Farm" I think that I would probably be Mollie for a number of reasons. One reason I think I'm like Mollie is because she is very concerned with how she looks and no matter what she will be dressed how she wants. After the rebellion when they said that the animals couldn't have anything human like clothes or beds, she was hiding her bows and ribbons in her stable. Then, when she left the animal farm and was seen at the other farm with the humans, she was wearing what she wanted again; it's very hard to keep me from wearing what I want. Another reason I feel that I am like Mollie is because she doesn't like to do work but if pushed, she will do it. I work at school but not neccesarily labor, but if it's extremely needed from me then I will do it. Unlike her, I don't fake pains and take lots of water breaks but I don't like getting up early in the morning either. The last reason that I feel like I am most like Mollie is because even though she is bubbly she does have a strong confident mind of her own. For example, she didn't care what the pigs were saying or what other animals thought of her, she actually knew more about humans than anyone else meaning that she could live with them if she wanted to. Also, she knew that it was not smart for a horse of her being to go out and fight in the battle when she would probably only get in the way since she had no tactics or knowledge about combat. Those are a few reasons why I think that I am most like Mollie if were any animal from the famous book "Animal Farm."
9/27/2011 My Webquest
One thing that I learned that I thought was really interesting was how the media lies about almost everything, it really makes you think about how everything is portrayed and what is the truth and what isn't. Another cool thing I learned was more about the details of 9/11, I didn't know all about the particulars like that it was Al Qeada and that we attacked Iraq for no reason. Another thing I thought was interesting was learning about all the places that the 7th graders chose such as Fiji, Hawaii, and Georgia. If I were to do this webquest again, I would probably make a prezi to better show me information and pictures, powerpoints are still ok but they can be simple. I think that webquests are ok, I didn't like this particular one because it was so confusing and hard to find answers; but the 7th grade one seemed really fun and enjoyable. Also, I think they are good for the mind because they make us think and force us to learn more than required.
