A relative location is often described using the distance from one place to another,
landmarks, time, and direction to explain where a place is. Longitude and latitude
are used to show where an absolute location is on the globe, and addresses are
used to show absolute locations locally.

The human characteristics of a place include roads, buildings,
food habits,and clothing. Human characteristics are the result of
people changing their environment.
Physical characteristics are simply the landscape and wildlife of an area.

By wearing clothes that are appropriate for the weather humans
are adapting to the environment.
People are modifying their environment when they heat their homes,
works, and other buildings to make themselves comfortable.

Movement is a big part of our world. It can be seen through communication with phones and email
but it can also be seen through imports and exports of goods.
People travel and move in their environment too.

There are several different kinds of regions, one region is a formal
region, a region that has been defined by government(or administrative)
boundaries.
A functional region is a region that exists because of a function and is defined by a function.
A vernacular region is a region that is described by people's perception. Example: The middle East
