3 questions. Why are we reading and doing this when we are doing a unit on utopia? What is median analysis? Which war in Irag are we talking about because there has been more than one?
Step 1: Youtube- Entertain, inform Facebook- Inform Twitter- Inform Google- Inform News Paper- Inform Television- Entertain, inform People- Entertain, inform Radio- Entertain, inform How is the media infulecened by social, political, and economical factors? SOCIAL People like to talk about things that are happening and they like to change the story a little bit. which makes it difficult to know what is true. Also the will spread untrue rumors about things they shouldn't be talking about. POLITICAL The battle between the rebuplicans and the democrates changes how the media is influenced by the political world. The two teams try to make the other team look bad and telling things that aren't true about the other political party. ECONOMIC People will cut out some of the information to reduce the cost of the broadcast. Also they will try to make there things seem more interesting to make more people by it. Religion The media will talk about some religions in a bad way.Such as the muzelems trying to build the church near the 9/11 site and all the people of new york did not want that to happen but the muzelems didn't get to share there side of why the wanted to build the church there so it can affect the way muzelems are treated. I think that when something happens in new york such as the church being built the media had people in the west totally against the idea of building the church because of the way they broadcasted the bad side of the church being built and the muzelems couldn't show there side of what would happen.
Step 2 Both sides of the war are portrayed as the united states are winning and the Iraqis are losing. The resources all are showing that Suddam is dead. But all the resources have a very different headline. They also are all United States paper. But the pictures are different for all the papers. So there were many different reports there trying to get pieces of information. The United States decided that they were going to portray that the crowd was huge and that we were winning the war. It made me think that the united states was winning the war and that we had had handled everything but we had no idea about the other side of the story. They decided that they should make the crowds large at Suddams falling because they wanted people to think that the crowds were large and everyone was exited they took lots of pictures and videos to make it seem likes big deal. There intentions were to make it seam like the war is over. They doctored the images so that the people of America would think that we were winning the war and they would be less worked. The purpose was to make it seem like the U S was winning the war. The U S military gained from the altering of the images because they made it seem like the war was over and hoped that people would forget about it. Yes because if the document it before anyone knew it was altered then history would go down with false information and it would change history and make it wrong.
Step 3 The Reporters at the suddam falls event made up most of the people their. I thought it was funny how the paper company makes the picture bigger so that it looks like the crowd was large. Also i thought it was funny to see the comparison of the two pictures with it zoomed in and out to see just how small the crowd was and how it was surrounded by the us military vehicles. It was funny to see how the paper puts the headline font huge and in a weird font. Then the make the article font small and kind of hide it but the picture is huge and takes up most of the space. There are many different audiences for the papers the had a picture of the paper for the United States. Also the there were international papers for other countries. It never showed the side of the Iraq people who thought that Iraq was winning the war. So they never knew until the statue was crashed that the United States was winning the war. Step 4 The population didn't change but they were constantly monitoring the muzelums and the Iraqes. No because the media didn't know that there was a group spying on them. the police department said that there was no group spying on them. It would not be multicultural if they are being racist towards the muzelems, but if they are trying to plan attacks on australia then they should be ready. It has made me wonder why the the military has to hide everything and make it look different over here to us. they need to let us know if we aren't winning the war. Also i think the population is staying the same as before there were 9/11 attacks. Yes, i didn't realize how much they were following the muzzelms and Iraqis around trying to find out more. Also i did not know that it wasn't the Iraqis war. Suddam went there to hide so we were fighting the wrong country and know we have to pay for it. Yes, i think that the media has changed the story so much that we had no idea what was going on in Iraq. Also i think that it has helped change the history between us and the people of Iraq. They did not like us when we were fighting them but know that we have possible taken care of Suddam they aren't angry.
Step 5 Perspective one, the Mexican perspective of world war two was interesting. The mexicans thought of sitting back and letting the war gone on without them. They had there defense areas ready for combat. But they decided that They were going to not attack anyone unless they had been attack. The troops that they had ready had been called active for a one year training with the united states troops after what they had experience so the the mexican army would be ready. In retearn the united states used new Mexico as a place to work on new battle devices. They made the next generation of the radio there. Also the made a v-1 bomb that they used to protect the navy's fleet. That is how the Mexican army contributed to are side of world war 2.
My perspective, I think that they were some good that came from the media hiding certain things from us and there were some bad things. It was good because, Americans thought that we were winning the war and they wouldn't worry about us getting attacked or anything bad happening.What was bad though, is that when the word got out the United States probably doesn't trust the media anymore. So if there are more things happening around the world and the media is trying to get the world out people won't believe them because they lied to us about world war 2 and the Iraq war. So if anything like that happens again I'm know that I am not going to believe them. That is my perspective on world war 2 and the iraq war.
Perspective 3 the Russian perspective, the Russians in the beginning of world war 2 signed a pact with hitler to stay away from Russia. Then hitler began concurring parts of Europe. By then Russia had taken over Romania and the balitic states, also part of Finland. After hitler had conquered almost all of Europe he put his army together and made an attempt to take over Russia. They forced many soldiers to surrend but the cold harsh wi terhad hit the Germans buy surprise and Russia pushed them back out to Berlin. Then russia recovered from all there loses and was as powerful as the United States.that is the Russian perspective of the united states.
