This is a sign protestors of the U.S. made recently... it relates directly to the book

Allegory Table

What it Symbolized for Orwell
What it Could Symbolize today
Molly external image white-horse-wallpapers-f-n-tattoodonkey.com.jpg
Molly Symbolized the Upper Class Citizens of Russia that
were not happy about the (Jones) leaving. After all, Molly was
living in the lap of luxury when Jones was around, given sugar and ribbons and when the farm was overtaken all these things
were taken from her.

Today it could symbolize the
Senate and House of the U.S.,
Or it could symbolize people who are important to Life, such as Celebrities, Authors, Singers, etc. that are forgotten quickly after death.

The Commandments being Changed
The Commandments symbolized the laws of the society. Each of the laws were created so that no animal was treated unequal towards another. I think the commandments being changed simply symbolized how easily the government can completely wipe away the essence that built their quality of life. It also kind of represents the greed of leaders, because when they change laws they always change them for the benefit of themselves.
I think that today the commandments symbolize the Constitution because the U.S. always changes them according to their needs, and since they are always changing them, who knows what they're going to do next? Since the Senate and House have total control over the laws, we can't control them, either.
The Animal Revolt
The Animal Revolt Represents the Russian Revolt in 1917 where the People (Animals)
overthrew the Tsar (Jones). It is also known as the Feburary Revoultion. In the Russian Revoultion the workers were living in bad working condition, i.e. High Unemployement and little food. It was said that a lack of bread started the dry tinder to take flame.
Today, I think that the Animal Revolt could symbolize the Riots in London that happened in August where a there was a shooting of a man named Mark Duggun, who was being arrested by the police. Or even more recently it could represent the Rome Riots, where the Parliament is passing a bill that the people didn't agree with.
Moses and his "Sugar Candy Mountain"
Moses reprensents the Orthdox Church. He left for a while in the book because he distracted the workers telling stories about sugar candy mountain when they should have been thinking about how the farm was going to take over the world. He came back in the end because then the animals would have something to believe in to work for. Sugar Candy Mountain Represents Heaven.
In todays times, I believe Sugar Candy Mountain is kind of a mixture of Heaven and the dreams of being famous. I think it Represents the craving for Fame because everyone wants to be the Popular, most amazing one that everyone remembers. It also represents heaven because it's a place we all want to go. Moses represents the Catholic Church I think.

Book
One Thing I find similar to this book is

Animal Farm
My house is like animal farm. My mom is like
Napoleon, because if she wants something she will
do anything in her power to get it and she will say things that
aren't true to make the other member believe her. My Dad is like
Snowball, chased out by Napoleon (They got divorced when I was 8).
My brother Mark reminds me of Boxer and Squealer, because he will
do all the work if it will give him attention and everyone always trusts and
believes him because he is seven with big brown eyes and everyone thinks
he's incredibly sweet and a good little boy. (According to almost everyone.
I just think he's annoying) My brother Luke reminds me of the cat and Mollie
Because he tends to slack off if there is work involved and is kind of sneaky and sly
like the cat. I think that my brothers are also like the sheep because
