Canadian Wilderness
Canadian Wilderness

Are story today begins on a crisp fall morning where the trees were turning and everyone was getting out their fall decor. Two very excited best friends named Sammy and Jimmy were sitting their backyard laughing at nothing in particular just having fun in the morning of their big day. Today they were going out into the Canadian wilderness(They lived in Canada so it was easy to access)to look for the long lost carving tools for their three hundred pound pumpkin. It was said that that greatest carving tools were out there in the wilderness were the maker just dropped them for the one would use to its greatest potincels. Yes, its those carving tools that the boys were going to look for. They packed a lunch and heading off into the wilderness around nine in the morning. While they were walking and looking Sammy got to thinking "There can only be one blue ribbon for the winner so after we get the carving tools for the pumpkin and carve it I will make sure Jimmy is out of the competition for good.". After a lot of walking and lots of breaks the boys came across a small clearing Jimmy said "The tools are near, I can just feel it." Sure enough right smack dabe in the middle of clearing the tools were there just waiting for them. "I knew it, these are just what we were looking for" said Jimmy. Sammy grinned to himself thinking "That blue ribbon is mine!!!" When the boys got back it was far to late to start carving the pumpkin. So Jimmy said "Lets start right away in the morning" Sammy was always a late sleeper especially on Saturdays. So Jimmy who, unlike Sammy started early in the morning not feeling one bit guilty because his excitement drowned out all his other feelings. When Sammy finally got there he was furious that Jimmy started without him which only widened the gap that was growing between them. But he started working the pumpkin right away anyhow. The boys were carving their great pumpkin into their favorite animal,(one thing the boys had in common)a liger. After a while the liger was coming along quite nicely, but Sammy started to get tired and went to take a rest while Jimmy was keep working. While Jimmy was working Sammy worked his plan into a little more detail. He planed to; after Jimmy was done he would make sure Jimmy had some spoiled food in his dinner. Sammy was so lazy that he did not work the rest of the day. The next day was the competition but Jimmy's mother informed Sammy that Jimmy had gotten very sick and can't come to the competition today(No surprise). As Sammy was get the pumpkin delivered to the competition he was feeling pretty proud of himself for thinking of that idea. When he got there he lied to everyone and took all credit for the giant Jack-O-Lantern that Jimmy had mostly made.Of course Sammy won first place there were no other lanterns that were even close to his great big one. Right before the amazing blue ribbon was pinned on the deceitful Sammy. Jimmy's mother burst into the tent and shouted "That boy is frod and a lier". "What on earth makes you think that women" said the pumpkin judge. "That boy takes all credit for that pumpkin but it was my son that did all the work". Sammy couldn't say a thing in his defense. So the next the ribbon was pinned on Jimmy shirt and his shirt only. Sammy and Jimmy were never friends again after that day but Sammy always regretted how he betrayed his friend that sad day.
